Securities Operations Analyst at Maven

Maven, a proprietary trading company, is seeking a Securities Operations Analyst to join their team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will receive hands-on training and support from a global team, becoming the primary point of contact for operational trading activities and providing support to other Maven offices. This role offers exposure to high-frequency and traditional trading strategies across equity and fixed income.

Responsibilities include:

• Daily positions/trades/cash reconciliations
• Daily management of trade settlement and issue resolution
• Working with Prime Brokers and counterparties
• Processing of corporate actions
• Monitoring of dropcopies
• Maintenance and delivery of reports
• Direct interaction with trading desks
• Project work as required

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Risk Management preferred) with a minimum 2.1 grade or equivalent
• 2+ years experience within a proprietary trading firm or fund manager directly
• Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Experience working in a high-pressure & high-volume environment
• Ability to respond in an accurate manner to queries from front office
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Knowledge of VBA/Python/SQL is advantageous
• Understanding of FIX messaging desirable
