Sr SW Engineer, Interest Management

Pismo is seeking a skilled Python Developer to join their team, focusing on developing and maintaining projects using AWS services. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions for Interest Management, integrating with internal and external clients using investment calculation engines. Pismo is committed to replacing outdated infrastructure in digital payments with its cloud-native platform, and the new team member will contribute to cutting-edge solutions for customers.

What the role involves:

• Developing and maintaining Python projects using AWS services.
• Collaborating with the product team to define system requirements.
• Automating AWS resource management with Terraform.
• Monitoring application performance and troubleshooting with Grafana.
• Writing SQL queries for issue resolution and reporting with MySQL.
• Contributing to architectural decisions using tools like Spark/EMR, Glue, SQS/SNS, Airflow, EventBridge, S3, DataBricks, and Lambdas.
• Designing and building microservices architecture and event-driven systems.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Python and AWS services (SNS/SQS, Spark/Glue, Lambda).
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Experience with Grafana for monitoring and MySQL for database management.
• Containerization (Kubernetes/Docker)
• Automated testings
• Ability to work collaboratively on architectural design decisions and contribute to scaling solutions.
• Event-driven architecture Knowledge of microservice architectures and event-driven systems.
• English Intermediate
