Engineering Manager (Data) at DATAPAO

DATAPAO is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager (Data) to lead one of the newly formed data engineering teams. The role involves overseeing project delivery, managing, and mentoring the team, and ensuring the successful execution of data engineering, ML/ML Ops, and cloud migration projects for EMEA and US customers. The Engineering Manager will lead a specialized data engineering team in areas such as Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering, depending on their preference and strengths.

What this role involves:

• Overseeing project delivery.
• Managing and mentoring a team of 5-6 consultants.
• Ensuring the successful execution of data engineering, ML/ML Ops, and cloud migration projects.
• Solving problems and taking ownership.
• Identifying and filling organizational gaps.

Requirements:

• Consultant mindset & passion for customer experience.
• Solid software engineering foundations.
• Experience in data-intensive applications and strong SQL and NoSQL hands-on experience.
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager.
• Experience growing people by co-creating objectives.
• Proven track record of scaling up dynamic and high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
