Producer - P&C Buffalo & Western NY Region

Job Description

Jencap is seeking a Producer to join their team in the Buffalo & Western NY Region. This role involves developing and presenting proposals, facilitating sales, and negotiating production goals. The Producer will develop new prospects through various channels and maintain thorough documentation of all interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively develop and present proposals on a timely basis.
• Facilitate the sale, deposit, binder, certificate, etc.
• Negotiate/execute new and renewal production and goals as established with management.
• Develop and pursue prospects through solicitation, referral, target marketing and industry affiliations, etc.
• Efficiently coordinate, present and process new and renewal business on timely basis.
• Properly document all conversation and materials with insureds and/or carriers regarding exposures and coverages in the electronic file.
• Assist in resolving any accounting, claims or marketing issues as needed.
• Maintain and service accounts as needed.
• Performs periodic service calls on designated accounts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Significant brokerage experience preferable in the wholesale sector of Property and Casualty Insurance.
• Solid knowledge of the insurance carriers and their appetite.
• Ability to develop innovative and customized business solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within territory.
• Maintain state-issued P&C license.
• Maintain state-issued E&S license.
