Smartling, a cloud-based, AI-enabled translation platform, is seeking a Support Engineer, Web Integrations to join their Professional Services team. The Support Engineer will maintain customer integrations based on Smartling’s GDN solution, ensuring they meet evolving website needs. The role involves collaborating with technical and business users, managing process changes, providing support, and promoting best practices.
Role involves:
- Gathering requirements from technical and business users
- Analyzing data and creating scalable solutions
- Managing process changes
- Providing support to customers
- Leading workshops and troubleshooting sessions.
- Promoting best practices for integration and platform adoption
- Staying updated on new technologies and contributing to process improvement
Requirements:
- A third level degree, or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 2 years of experience as a Support Engineer, Solution Architect, Technical Consultant, or similar
- 2 years of experience with web technologies (HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and REST APIs
- Analytical approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with a programming/scripting language
