Sr Software Engineer

Job Description

SimpliSafe is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Authorization and Messaging Platform team. This role involves taking ownership of messaging tools and the CIAM platform, supporting the engineering staff in building products that ensure customer safety.Responsibilities include:

• Day-to-day bug fixing
• Technical design
• Architecture of authorization and messaging products

Candidates should bring:

• Experience in shipping complex, highly scalable applications
• Experience with CIAM systems or distributed data stores for messaging
• Understanding of core web and browser concepts
• Experience writing web services at scale (Node.js, Rust, Java, Go, Python)
• Extensive experience with REST and web technology
