Senior Data Engineer at VML MAP

VML MAP is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join its Data Insights and Science team. The candidate will be responsible for building, supporting, and maintaining digital marketing solutions. This role involves collaborating with CRM developers, data scientists, data analysts, and product owners.Responsibilities include:

• Identifying, collecting, and integrating data from various sources.
• Building high-quality data pipelines and data models.
• Developing and optimizing code for pipelines.
• Building monitoring procedures and tools.
• Designing processes and tools to correct ETL incidents.
• Consulting data analytics teams on best practices.
• Designing data architectures and collaborating in data migrations in cloud environments.

Requirements:

• Experience in data engineering, big data, business intelligence, or data science.
• Experience in Spark, Python, Scala, or similar.
• Excellent SQL skills.
• Understanding of cloud data warehousing, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
• Experience with cloud-based data infrastructures (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Programming experience in Javascript, Python, or similar.
• Expertise in managing databases.
• Knowledge of data quality management best practices.
• Knowledge of visualization tools.
• Understanding of versioning control tools like GitHub.
• Knowledge of data governance principles.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (advantage).
