Sony Music is seeking a Marketing Manager to drive fan engagement across all online platforms for established and emerging music artists. The Marketing Manager will be a part of the core team responsible for artist branding, revenue, P&L, and artist development. The role involves coordinating digital campaigns, working with content creators, providing online marketing strategies, and communicating with artist management. The Marketing Manager will also maintain relationships with digital partners, spot digital trends, monitor analytics, and pitch artists to local partners.
What this role involves:
- Coordinating social media, content development, and digital advertising campaigns.
- Conceptualizing short-form content for social media, etc.
- Providing ideas & strategy for online marketing campaign.
- Maintaining relationships with key digital promotional partners.
- Spotting digital trends and understanding new technologies.
- Monitoring analytics on streaming platforms.
- Building budget and effectively executing paid media campaigns.
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of progressive digital marketing experience.
- Thorough understanding of the music & entertainment marketplace.
- Knowledge of the music streaming landscape.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be highly organized and capable of developing and keeping to a project timeline
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, multi-media, music business, digital business, business management or any related field is preferred.
