Job Description
The Marketing Manager role at Sony Music Thailand involves full-scope digital marketing plans to drive fan engagement across all online platforms for established and emerging music artists. The role is part of the core team responsible for overall artist branding, revenue, P&L, and artist development.
What this role involves:
- Coordinating social media, content development, streaming marketing, digital advertising & CRM campaigns for assigned artists.
- Conceptualizing & completing short-form content for social media.
- Providing ideas & strategy for online marketing campaigns.
- Communicating with artist management/artist on a regular basis.
- Maintaining relationships with key digital promotional partners.
- Maximizing online and offline retail promotional opportunities/support retail initiatives.
- Spotting digital trends and aligning them with business objectives.
- Monitoring analytics on streaming platforms.
- Providing in-depth analysis measuring the success of campaigns.
- Pitching artists and tracks to local partners.
- Building budget and effectively executing paid media campaigns.
- Participating in new artist pitch meetings.
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of progressive 360 digital marketing experience.
- Thorough understanding of the music & entertainment marketplace.
- Knowledge of the music streaming landscape.
- Solid understanding / interest in lifestyle verticals and Urban etc. culture.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and professional planning and executing experience with social platforms.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experienced and skilled at acting as a liaison between the artists/artist management and the label.
- Must be highly organized and capable of developing and keeping to a project timeline.
- Prior experience with a variety of digital marketing tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, multi-media, music business, digital business, business management or any related field is preferred.
- Proficiency/knowledge in CRM programs including Salesforce, Tableau etc. is a plus.
- Data analysis/consumer-behavior research skills are a plus.
