Job Description
Octagon seeks an Experiential Manager to oversee the Lifestyle campaign for their payment services client. The role involves planning and executing event and experiential marketing programs, focusing on custom dinner events and sponsorships of Arts & Culture properties. The Experiential Manager will be responsible for managing partner and vendor relationships, handling event logistics, and providing client deliverables. This position can be based in either Stamford, CT, or NYC.
The role involves:
- Acting as a day-to-day contact for key clients
- Communicating with clients, vendors, venue operators, and partners
- Managing event logistics (pre, during, and post)
- Delivering custom event solutions to stakeholders
- Enhancing partner relationships
- Managing agreements/contracts with venues and chef partners
- Maximizing the value of sponsorship assets and programs
- Overseeing numerous projects simultaneously
- Assisting with finance paperwork
- Developing post-event wrap-up materials
- Attending events as a main point of contact
Requirements include:
- 3-4 years’ experience in agency or client service and event planning
- Adept at organization and communication
- Ability to independently problem-solve
- Diligent work ethic
- Comfortable working with clients
- Team player
- Excellent project management skills
- Budget management experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Flexibility to travel and work weekends/holidays
