GumGum is seeking a Media Strategist/Digital Media Planner to join their team. In this role, the individual will partner with Sales to achieve regional revenue goals, leading the Deal Response stage of the sales cycle. The person will work cross-functionally across GumGum’s Growth Team to prepare recommendations that address client needs and objectives.

The Media Strategist will contribute to team resources to maximize the efficiency of response creation. The role involves independently prioritizing workload and working on strategic initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Client Strategy team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead creation of the response for every Deal Response stage opportunity.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on what to propose throughout the response creation process.
  • Prepare deliverables that succinctly communicate our understanding of the client’s needs.
  • Take a data-driven and analytical approach to storytelling, leveraging data tools and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline.
  • 2-4 years of work experience in media buying, sales, customer success, business development, or marketing.
  • Experience developing proposals and pitches in the media industry.
  • Proficient in Powerpoint and Google Slides.
  • Ability to use tools like Comscore, Quantcast, and Looker.
