GumGum is seeking a Senior Media Strategist/Senior Digital Media Planner to join their team in Mexico City. The ideal candidate will partner with Sales to achieve regional revenue goals, leading the Deal Response stage of the sales cycle. He/She will work cross-functionally across GumGum’s Growth Team to prepare recommendations that address the client’s needs and objectives and position GumGum to partner effectively with the client on each potential campaign.
The Senior Strategist also mentors and supports in operational effectiveness of Strategists, and new team members, as well as taking a more active role in the development of the Client Strategy team. This role requires the ability to understand client needs, craft solutions, project manage, and prioritize competing demands.
Role Involves:
- Leading creation of the response for every Deal Response stage opportunity.
- Driving cross-functional alignment on proposed solutions.
- Preparing response deliverables that communicate understanding of the client’s needs.
- Developing expertise in key verticals to provide strategic input.
- Understanding and communicating GumGum policies and Client Strategy processes.
- Mentoring one to two Strategists.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline.
- 3-4+ years of experience in media buying, sales, customer success, business development, or marketing.
- Experience developing proposals and pitches.
- Proficiency in Google Slides and PowerPoint.
- Ability to use research and reporting tools like Comscore, Quantcast, and Looker.
