AI Software Engineer (f/m/d)

Job Description

Contentful is seeking an AI Software Engineer to join their AI Platform team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining an internal AI platform that accelerates innovation across the organization. He/she will collaborate with feature teams to enhance their development capabilities and bring AI-powered solutions to life.

The AI Software Engineer will play a crucial role in shaping the internal AI ecosystem by developing scalable, high-performance AI integrations, APIs, tools, and documentation. This role involves acting as a support and consultancy resource, fostering seamless integration of AI technologies, and driving efficiency and innovation throughout Contentful.

What this role involves:

• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build AI-enabled features.
• Implementing and integrating AI technologies like generative AI, machine learning models, and NLP.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable AI platform features.
• Implementing governance features such as metrics tracking, audit logs, and security measures.
• Thinking critically about the interactions between AI models and product components.
• Rapidly fixing bugs and solving problems related to AI performance and data pipelines.
• Participating in code reviews and improving AI development processes.

Requirements:

• Experience integrating and implementing AI/ML solutions.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Experience with asynchronous systems.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Adaptability in a dynamic AI-driven environment.
