AI Software Engineer (f/m/d)

Job Description

Contentful is seeking an AI Software Engineer to join their AI Platform team. This role involves building and maintaining an internal AI platform that accelerates innovation across the organization. The AI Software Engineer will develop scalable, high-performance AI integrations, APIs, tools, and documentation to empower feature teams to efficiently test, deliver, and maintain cutting-edge AI-driven products. They will collaborate closely with feature teams to enhance their development capabilities and bring AI-powered solutions to life.

What this role involves:

• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to build AI-enabled features.
• Implementing and integrating AI technologies like generative AI, machine learning models, and NLP.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable AI platform features.
• Implementing governance features such as metrics tracking, audit logs, and security measures.
• Thinking critically about the interactions between AI models and product components.
• Fixing bugs and solving problems related to AI performance and data pipeline issues.
• Participating in code reviews and improving AI development processes.

Requirements:

• Experience integrating and implementing AI/ML solutions.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Experience with building and maintaining asynchronous systems.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Adaptability in a dynamic AI-driven environment.
