Muck Rack, a leading SaaS platform for public relations and communications professionals, is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Outbound Sales Development Representative. This is a remote position within the US. The ideal candidate will be excited about working in a fast-paced sales environment and representing Muck Rack's team, culture, and brand to prospective customers.
Responsibilities: - Prospect leads via email and phone to schedule meetings and exceed quota.
- Manage and overcome objections from potential buyers.
- Establish efficient systems to reach out to companies creatively.
- Track PR industry news to identify outreach opportunities.
- Organize and assign leads through Muck Rack’s CRM, maintaining accurate records.
- Propose creative ways to engage target accounts using Muck Rack’s tools.
- Perform A/B testing on outreach campaigns for sales enablement.
Requirements: - At least 1 year of experience working in SaaS as a sales development representative OR 1 year of professional experience in a PR role
- Sales-oriented mindset and a love for building relationships.
- Excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong phone presence and ability to connect with potential customers.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly accountable, self-motivated, and with a growth mindset.
- Proven track record with learning new tools and technologies.
- Must be willing to work East Coast hours.
