Job Description
Muck Rack, a leading SaaS platform for public relations and communications professionals, is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Outbound Sales Development Representative. This is a remote position within the US. The ideal candidate will be excited about working in a fast-paced sales environment and representing Muck Rack's team, culture, and brand to prospective customers.Responsibilities:
  • Prospect leads via email and phone to schedule meetings and exceed quota.
  • Manage and overcome objections from potential buyers.
  • Establish efficient systems to reach out to companies creatively.
  • Track PR industry news to identify outreach opportunities.
  • Organize and assign leads through Muck Rack’s CRM, maintaining accurate records.
  • Propose creative ways to engage target accounts using Muck Rack’s tools.
  • Perform A/B testing on outreach campaigns for sales enablement.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience working in SaaS as a sales development representative OR 1 year of professional experience in a PR role
  • Sales-oriented mindset and a love for building relationships.
  • Excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong phone presence and ability to connect with potential customers.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly accountable, self-motivated, and with a growth mindset.
  • Proven track record with learning new tools and technologies.
  • Must be willing to work East Coast hours.
