Berlin Brands Group (BBG), a leading European digital company, is seeking a Mid Software Engineer to join their engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining the middleware of a robust e-commerce solution.
Role Involves:
- Architecting and developing middleware for an e-commerce platform.
- Maintaining and evolving the existing platform using innovative technologies.
- Designing and developing cloud-based web applications using Microsoft Azure.
- Working in agile environments and participating in DevOps processes.
- Ensuring code quality and adherence to coding principles.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development with C# and .NET (v4+) / .NET Core (v3.1+) frameworks.
- Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven design.
- Proficiency in backend technologies (e.g., C#/ASP.NET Core), .NET 6 Web APIs (AAD authentication, EF Core, Swagger, ORM Frameworks).
- Experience with cloud technologies, ideally with MS Azure (ServiceBus, EventGrid, Azure Functions, WebApps, AppInsight, Blob storage, MessageBus, Message queue).
- Skills in Database Technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Cosmos DB.
- Experience in agile environments and familiarity with DevOps & Scrum.
- Good communication skills in English.
