Doctolib is seeking a highly skilled and motivated DataOps Engineer to join their dynamic data team. This role is crucial in designing, implementing, and managing the data infrastructure, ensuring seamless data flow, and enabling data-driven decision-making. The DataOps Engineer will collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to build and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines.
What this role involves:
- Designing and implementing a scalable and reliable data infrastructure.
- Building and maintaining data pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Implementing automation and orchestration tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning and data workflows.
- Monitoring data platforms for performance and reliability, identifying and troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborating with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise.
Requirements for this role:
- 2+ years of experience as a DataOps Engineer or similar role, with a proven track record of building and maintaining complex data infrastructures.
- Strong proficiency in data engineering / infrastructure tools and technologies, such as data warehouse solutions (Redshift, BigQuery...), Docker, Airflow.
- Expertise in programming languages like Python.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services, preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tool such as Terraform.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying and resolving data infrastructure bottlenecks and performance issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
