Doctolib is seeking an Engineering Manager to join its Business Performance Engineering department. The Engineering Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting all business activity at Doctolib by providing tools that empower product engineering teams to launch their products and features more easily. They will manage a team of full-stack developers and ensure business objectives are met through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Role involves:
- Managing and growing the performance and career of a team of full-stack developers.
- Setting the roadmap for the team and owning the team's production, quality, and delivery.
- Participating in code reviews and being hands-on when required.
- Leading cross-functional initiatives to up-level the engineering team.
- Partnering with Talent & People teams to recruit, develop, and retain talent.
- Requirements:
- 4+ years of people management experience with an engineering team.
- Experience with React, Ruby on Rails, and NestJS.
- Understanding of the value of testing code.
- Ability to adapt to the most efficient technologies to solve issues.
- Experience developing efficient, maintainable, and secure products.
- Comfortable speaking English.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructures and security topics.
