Mobile Engineer (Android) - Berlin (x/f/m) at Doctolib

Doctolib is seeking a Mobile Engineer (Android) to join its tech team in Berlin. The engineer will focus on the healthcare practitioners’ mobile application (Pro app), refactoring and enhancing the app used by practitioners in France, Germany, and Italy.

The Mobile Engineer will lead the transformation from a webview-based app to a fully React Native application, establishing architectural foundations. They will develop and deliver a high-quality application that meets the needs of practitioners.

Role involves:

• Building new features in Kotlin for our native application
• Maintaining and improving current codebase.
• Communicating with stakeholders throughout the development process
• Debugging production issues
• Participating in product-related and design discussions
• Deploying code every day.
• Keeping security and privacy front and center

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with Native Android development
• Experience with or willingness to learn React Native
• Passion for writing clean, tested, and well-documented code
• Willingness to discuss new ideas and approaches to solve problems
• Understanding of agile team practices
• Fluent in English
