Doctolib is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to enhance its AI phone assistant. This role involves developing and implementing AI models to improve speech-to-text accuracy and conversational flow. The engineer will adapt to user emotions in real-time and implement safety guardrails. Doctolib's phone assistant will improve access to healthcare for everyone by helping medical practices making, rescheduling, or canceling appointments via phone.
Role Involves:
- Creating or adapting model architectures
- Designing annotation and data collection strategies
- Implementing and testing new ideas to improve model performance
- Running offline model evaluations and deploying algorithms
- Measuring online performance and refining approaches
Requirements:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in applied AI
- Experience with speech-to-text, NLP, LLMs, or Agentic frameworks
- Knowledge of NLP architectures and methods
