Job Description
Allied Global Marketing is seeking an Account Manager to join their team. The Account Manager will lead the day-to-day management of a Partnership Marketing client’s sponsorship portfolio, support the account team as well as agency business initiatives.
Responsibilities: - Lead day-to-day management of client's sponsorship platform
- Develop and lead on sponsorship rights and asset management processes
- Coordinate and manage activation programming with client functional teams
- Provide strategic thinking and POVs for sponsorship initiatives
- Manage client-vendor relationships and coordinate necessary deliverables on behalf of client
- Provide proactive strategic thinking and recommendations for client and agency at large
- Manage project budgets and invoicing deadlines
- Lead key meetings with internal & external constituents
- Provide support to Director and VP on overarching account management and planning
- Lead and mentor direct reports
Requirements: - 6-8 years of agency, property or client-specific sponsorship management experience
- Prior sports sponsorship experience required
- Client-based account management experience
- Project management experience
- League and/or team experience
- Experience with on-site event management, event execution and vendor management
- Ability to think strategically, creatively and can problem solve independently
- Ability to handle precise asset management records, allocation, tracking and reconciliation
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent time management, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
- Proficient in Microsoft suite
- Able to work weekends, holidays and non-traditional hours, as required
What the Role Offers: - Hybrid schedule: Office in New York, NY with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote weekly (subject to change)
