Job Description
Allied Global Marketing is seeking an Account Manager to join their team. The Account Manager will lead the day-to-day management of a Partnership Marketing client’s sponsorship portfolio, support the account team as well as agency business initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead day-to-day management of client's sponsorship platform
  • Develop and lead on sponsorship rights and asset management processes
  • Coordinate and manage activation programming with client functional teams
  • Provide strategic thinking and POVs for sponsorship initiatives
  • Manage client-vendor relationships and coordinate necessary deliverables on behalf of client
  • Provide proactive strategic thinking and recommendations for client and agency at large
  • Manage project budgets and invoicing deadlines
  • Lead key meetings with internal & external constituents
  • Provide support to Director and VP on overarching account management and planning
  • Lead and mentor direct reports


Requirements:
  • 6-8 years of agency, property or client-specific sponsorship management experience
  • Prior sports sponsorship experience required
  • Client-based account management experience
  • Project management experience
  • League and/or team experience
  • Experience with on-site event management, event execution and vendor management
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively and can problem solve independently
  • Ability to handle precise asset management records, allocation, tracking and reconciliation
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent time management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite
  • Able to work weekends, holidays and non-traditional hours, as required


What the Role Offers:
  • Hybrid schedule: Office in New York, NY with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote weekly (subject to change)
