SingleStore is seeking a Paralegal based in Costa Rica to support its US legal team. The legal team partners across the company to advance and protect SingleStore’s interests. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Associate General Counsel, ensuring the smooth operation of corporate governance, subsidiary management, compliance, procurement, and vendor engagement.

The Role Involves:

  • Drafting and maintaining corporate documents
  • Ensuring compliance with governance policies
  • Preparing and reviewing materials for Board and committee meetings
  • Drafting, reviewing, and preparing regulatory filings
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance with multi-national regulatory schemas
  • Reviewing various agreement types, including consultant/contractor, software, and marketing agreements
  • Conducting trademark and patent searches

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in technology
  • Experience working in-house at a technology, software, or infrastructure company
  • Excellent communication and client relation skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance, subsidiary management, and procurement processes
  • Familiarity with data privacy issues, including GDPR, CCPA, and information security standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with legal research tools and contract management software
  • Strong knowledge of US laws and regulations
  • Fluent English, both written and verbal
  • Positive, can-do attitude and collaborative spirit
