Senior Revenue Accountant at LearnUpon

LearnUpon is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join their Finance team in Dublin. The Senior Revenue Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of revenue recognition, billing, and financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end reporting of revenue and revenue-related accounts.
• Lead the revenue close process, ensuring compliance with IFRS 15.
• Design scalable reconciliations processes to support the company’s growth.
• Strengthen the internal financial control model.
• Provide insights to Leadership on variance analysis findings.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, Customer Experience, and Legal teams.
• Review and interpret customer contracts and sales agreements.
• Develop and maintain revenue accounting policies and procedures.
• Evaluate & implement new revenue models in line with go to market strategy.
• Act as a mentor and support junior revenue team members.

Requirements:

• Qualified chartered accountant with strong understanding of international accounting standards.
• 4+ years of experience in revenue accounting, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
• Advanced working knowledge of excel and manipulating data.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and software.
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to lead and work cross-functionally.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines.
