Director, Sales Engineer

Job Description

Pismo is seeking a Director, Sales Engineer to support the Pismo and Visa VAS sales teams in North America. This role involves working closely with high-level technologists to understand their needs and structure value propositions using the Pismo platform.He/she will work with internal teams, answer RFPs, and assess partner suitability. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with banking and payments, possessing strong knowledge of the financial services industry, including data protection and regulatory landscapes.Responsibilities include:

• Understanding client needs and structuring value propositions.
• Assessing gaps between client needs and platform capabilities.
• Answering RFPs and other inquiries.
• Assessing partner suitability.

Minimum qualifications include:

• 10+ years of experience with payments or core banking solutions.
• Experience with product demonstrations and presentations.
• Previous experience with SaaS and Cloud technologies.
• Experience working with large financial institutions.
• Strong technical knowledge of cloud and modern development frameworks.
