Head of Finance

Job Description

Acryl Data, the company behind DataHub, is seeking a Head of Finance to establish and lead all financial operations. This is the first finance hire, requiring close collaboration with the executive team to develop financial strategies, manage investor relations, and build scalable financial processes. The role involves transitioning financial operations from an outsourced accounting firm to an in-house function, while maintaining strategic partnerships with external advisors.Responsibilities include:

• Developing financial strategies
• Managing investor relations

• Transitioning financial operations to in-house

Requirements:

• Minimum 7+ years of finance and accounting experience, with 3+ years in leadership
• 3+ years at B2B SaaS startups (Series A-C ideal)
• Experience in enterprise software, data, or B2B SaaS sectors
• Experience as the first finance hire at an early-stage startup
• Strong understanding of subscription-based revenue models and SaaS metrics
• Expertise in financial planning and analysis
• Experience with fundraising and investor relations (Series B)
• Proficiency with financial systems and tools (NetSuite, Bill.com, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills
