Quality Control Technician - Philippines at Palmetto Clean Technology

Palmetto, recognized for its rapid growth in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a Quality Control Technician in the Philippines. This role involves ensuring high-quality standards for Palmetto's Third Party Ownership product, focusing on solar power and energy storage systems. The technician will review project documents, photos, and design details to maintain strong portfolio health for systems designed to last 25 years.

The Quality Control Technician plays a crucial role in clarifying necessary remediations and supporting the LightReach division by gathering data to drive partner accountability. They must ensure accurate creation of solar monitoring platforms and verify that the estimated production of sold systems aligns with the installed design. This position requires daily project throughput review to ensure timely approval and rejection of project milestones, along with clear communication to external partners.

Responsibilities:

• Review installation photos and job close-out documentation.
• Verify sold production to physical installation
• Review solar monitoring sites, layout, and registered product
• Identify trends or patterns with partners and drive remediation recommendations
• Perform and document site inspections as prescribed under specific programs

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in a technical or construction based solar role
• Experience with interdepartmental problem solving or project management
• Experience in photovoltaic design preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to climb ladders, access and work on rooftops, including in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
