Tenable is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Security to join their team in Tel Aviv. Tenable is an Exposure Management company that helps organizations understand and reduce cyber risk.

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex, scalable, and high-performance systems. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions aligned with business objectives. The role involves providing input on architectural design and participating in technical planning to ensure long-term maintainability and compliance with standards. The Senior Software Engineer will also identify and troubleshoot production issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing fixes to ensure system reliability. They will contribute to code reviews and technical discussions, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

The role involves:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining complex, scalable, and high-performance systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Providing input on architectural design
  • Identifying and troubleshooting production issues
  • Contributing to code reviews and technical discussions

Requirements:

  • BSc in Computer Science or a related degree
  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (C/C++, C#, Java, Go, or Python)
  • Experience building scalable, distributed systems
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently
