Software Engineer (Canada)

HubSpot is seeking a Software Engineer to join their growing engineering team in Toronto, Canada. The position is open to upcoming 2025 graduates, recent graduates, and experienced professionals. The Software Engineer will work within autonomous, cross-functional teams to develop and maintain HubSpot's suite of products.

The Software Engineer role involves:

• Working in small, autonomous, cross-functional teams
• Setting goals and timelines for software development
• Building software and participating in user testing
• Taking ownership of projects

HubSpot is looking for candidates with:

• Previous software engineering experience, either professionally or academically
• Experience with technologies such as Java, RESTful APIs, Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, JavaScript (React, ECMAScript 6, Sass), and MySQL
