Schrödinger is seeking an experienced Account Director or Senior Account Director to join their Sales Team in Europe. The role focuses on growing revenue from software solutions and services for pharmaceutical, biotech, and life science companies. This role involves expanding the product offerings beyond computational chemistry software into materials science, biologics, enterprise informatics, databases, and visualization. The role covers the biotech customer segment within their region.
  • Creating and executing comprehensive sales plans
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts
  • Leading high-level negotiations and closing deals
  • Collaborating with the EU+ team for business development
  • Producing timely and accurate business reports
  • Conducting customer visits across Europe
  • Representing Schrödinger at scientific conferences
Requirements:
  • Experience in key account management, business development, or consulting
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies
  • Advanced degree in life sciences (knowledge of materials science or molecular modeling is a plus)
  • Familiarity with computational chemistry software
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in German strongly preferred
