Job Description

JD Sports is seeking a Comptable Financier to join their team in Marcq-en-Barœul, France. The role is within the finance team of JD Sports, working closely with the UK-based finance team and playing a key role for the company in France.

Role Involves:

• Reviewing expenses and monthly accounts
• Ensuring compliance with group standards
• Preparing, reviewing, and auditing monthly accounts
• Calculating end-of-year provisions
• Monthly accounting of payroll data
• Calculating and accounting for adjustments and advance payments
• Performing monthly reconciliations
• Submitting monthly accounts to the group, adhering to British and French standards
• Ensuring consistency of movements in income statements
• Participating in the analysis of fixed asset entries

Requirements:

• Accounting training
• Proven experience in auditing and accounting, ideally in a retail environment
• Proficiency in Excel
• Fluency in English
