JD Sports is seeking a Payroll Manager for a 6-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of stores autonomously and performing a variety of tasks related to payroll and personnel administration.
- Managing a portfolio of stores independently.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for managers on all matters related to personnel administration and payroll.
- Handling payroll from start to finish, including collecting, calculating, entering, and verifying payroll data.
- Managing employee departures, including final paychecks and exit documents.
- Managing medical examinations.
- Tracking the annualization of store employees.
Requirements:
- Bac +2 degree in management or human resources.
- Previous experience in payroll.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Strong organizational, rigorous, and interpersonal skills.
