Alternant Floor manager H/F

Job Description

JD Sports is seeking an Alternant Floor Manager to join their team in Angers. This role is an apprenticeship position, partnering with WIN Sport for Bachelor & Master programs starting in September 2025. The Alternant Floor Manager will be responsible for managing a department within the store, focusing on team leadership, sales performance, and customer service.

The successful candidate will work for JD Sports.

Role involves:

• Leading and managing a team of salespeople and supervisors.
• Analyzing sales performance indicators (CA, TT, IV, PM) to improve department profitability.
• Managing store openings and closings, including deliveries, team briefings, and cash handling.
• Handling HR tasks such as scheduling, recruitment, and onboarding new employees.
• Ensuring the sales floor is well-presented, collaborating with visual merchandisers.

Requirements:

• BAC+3 in management/business
• Leadership skills and the ability to unite a team towards a common goal.
• Sales expertise and the ability to share knowledge.
• Versatility and a passion for human relations.
