JD Sports, a leading sports fashion retailer with a strong presence in Europe, is seeking an Alternant Floor Manager to join their team in Lyon. With over 130 stores in France and plans for further expansion, JD Sports offers a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.

The Alternant Floor Manager will play a crucial role in managing a department within the store, focusing on team leadership, profitability, and customer service. This role involves a blend of operational tasks, team management, and sales performance analysis.

Role involves:

• Leading and managing a team of sales associates and supervisors.
• Analyzing sales performance indicators (CA, TT, IV, PM) to improve department profitability.
• Managing store openings and closings, including deliveries, team briefings, and cash handling.
• Handling HR tasks such as scheduling, recruitment, and onboarding.
• Ensuring overall presentation of the sales floor.

Requirements:

• BAC+3 in management in commerce.
• Leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent sales skills and ability to train others.
• Versatility and passion for retail and human relations.
