JD Sports is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join their team in Buchelay. The Assistant Store Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in the overall management and operation of the store.

The ideal candidate will be a confident and reliable individual with a proven track record of success in retail management. They will be responsible for assisting in driving sales, managing costs, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Role Involves:

• Driving store performance through sales development and cost reduction.
• Analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting on store activity.
• Monitoring the competition and market trends.
• Leading and motivating the store team through effective communication and delegation.
• Developing and coaching managers and sales associates.
• Managing human resources functions, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Ensuring store cleanliness and adherence to merchandising standards.
• Managing inventory, minimizing losses, and overseeing cash handling procedures.
