Job Description
Valera Health is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver evidence-based therapy and medication management. The clinician will collaborate with a health navigator for patient engagement and logistical support. Valera Health provides technology, an EMR system, and malpractice insurance.Role involves:- Providing therapy and medication management for a diverse group of patients
- Working in a team-based approach with other clinicians and healthcare navigators
- Regular supervision with a psychiatrist for the first 2 months
- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensure in New York
- Active DEA licensure
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting
- Two (2) or more years of experience working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Reliable self-starter who can work independently and also as part of a team
- Strong engagement and assessment skills to work with a diverse range of patients
