Job Description

Valera Health is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy and medication management. The clinician will work collaboratively with a health navigator, focusing on clinical care with the support of technology and an EMR system. Valera Health provides malpractice insurance and opportunities for clinical training.Role involves:

• Providing therapy and medication management for a diverse set of patients
• Working in a team-based approach with other clinicians and healthcare navigators
• Regular supervision with a psychiatrist for the first 2 months

Requirements:

• Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensure in Colorado
• Active DEA licensure
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting
• Two (2) or more years of experience working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• Reliable self-starter who can work independently and also as part of a team
• Strong engagement and assessment skills to work with a diverse range of patients
