Job Description
Valera Health is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver therapy and medication management. This role involves working collaboratively with a health navigator and other clinicians to provide patient-centered care. Valera Health is committed to accessible and affordable mental health care. Responsibilities:
  • Providing therapy and medication management for diverse group of patients
  • Working in a team-based approach with other clinicians and healthcare navigators
  • Regular supervision with psychiatrist for first 2 months
Requirements:
  • Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Washington
  • Active DEA licensure
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting
  • Two (2) or more years of experience working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
  • Bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese (Nice to have)
  • EMDR / DBT experience (Nice to have)
  • Prior telehealth or remote experience (Nice to have)
  • Reliable self-starter who can work independently and also as part of a team (Nice to have)
  • Strong engagement and assessment skills to work with a diverse range of patients (Nice to have)
