Job Description

JD Sports is seeking a Cleaning Agent to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of its Lyon store. The Cleaning Agent will contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and proper functioning of the premises. They will carry out cleaning operations on surfaces and facilities.

The role involves:

• Cleaning premises
• Organizing work methodically according to the schedule and safety instructions
• Selecting and dispensing products according to the surfaces to be treated
• Reading labels and respecting the instructions for use
• Vacuuming, sweeping, washing, and dusting premises and surfaces
• Sorting and disposing of routine waste
• Changing trash bags
• Checking the cleanliness of the premises
• Identifying surfaces to be disinfected
• Ensuring routine maintenance and tidying up equipment (machines, products) used after use
• Ensuring not to disrupt the work of staff in the store
• Reporting the daily replenishment of premises with hygiene products (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.)
• Maintaining the stock of cleaning and hygiene products and reporting needs to the manager in order to place orders
• Occasionally providing service during certain events that require it (sales, etc.)

Requirements:

• Knowledge of the properties, precautions for use and storage of various cleaning products.
• Respect for hygiene and safety rules
• Basic first aid knowledge
• Sense of organization and methodology of cleaning work
