DevOps Manager at Delasport

Delasport is seeking a DevOps Manager to join their R&D center in Kyiv. The DevOps Manager will oversee the management and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and manage the DevOps team to ensure the highest standards of team performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading a DevOps team and proficient in containerization technologies, particularly Kubernetes.

Role involves:

• Overseeing the management and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Managing the DevOps team to ensure the highest standards of team’s performance.
• Architecting, constructing, and managing containerized environments using Kubernetes for the seamless deployment and orchestration of microservices.
• Collaborating closely with software development teams to optimize the CI/CD pipeline.
• Developing and upholding infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Deploying and administering configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Monitoring system performance, pinpoint potential bottlenecks, and proactively optimize and enhance overall system reliability.
• Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure, application, and deployment issues promptly.
• Participating in the on-call rotation with the DevOps team.
• Staying abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in leading of DevOps team.
• Proficient in containerization technologies, particularly Kubernetes.
• Mastery of infrastructure automation using Terraform.
• Profound understanding of configuration management tools, especially Ansible.
• Solid grasp of CI/CD concepts and experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Adaptable and resilient mindset.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Upper-Intermediate proficiency in English.
