R&D Manager

Job Description

Delasport, an iGaming software company specializing in Sports Betting & Online Casino software and B2B solutions, is seeking an R&D Manager for their Kyiv R&D center. The R&D Manager will lead engineering teams, facilitate their growth, and manage performance. He will work with stakeholders to define milestones for new functionalities, ensure process improvement, and improve team efficiency.

The role involves:

• Leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• Enabling rapid delivery of features and technical solutions.
• Collaborating with business leads to define milestones.
• Working under deadlines to design, build, and deliver projects.
• Ensuring processes and training for continuous improvement.
• Improving team efficiency and addressing technical debt.

Requirements:

• Strong motivator, leader, and team player.
• 7+ years of experience as a technology leader.
• Experience working with stakeholders and contributing to product definition.
• Knowledge in Java, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis / Aerospike, Relational & NoSQL Databases.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Understanding of large-scale, distributed systems, microservice architecture.
• Experience in recruiting, retaining, and inspiring software engineering teams.
• Fluent in English.
