Workato is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant (Presales) to join their team in Tokyo, Japan. In this role, the individual will serve as a key advisor and advocate for Workato's products and automation best practices, assisting prospective customers in achieving their desired business outcomes. The Senior Solutions Consultant will actively manage the solutioning and evaluation phases of the sales process, working closely with account teams.He will be responsible for:
- Being a trusted advisor to customers by realizing Workato’s value propositions and platform capabilities.
- Owning the technical diagnosis and validation phases of the sales cycle.
- Teaming with AEs and Solution Architects to evangelize the platform.
- Working closely with Customer Success to implement solutions.
- Articulating business, technical, and architectural concepts to diverse audiences.
- Selling the value of Workato products through various channels.
- Serving as the SAP integration SME for the region.
- Creating and delivering custom product demonstrations.
- Performing business and technical discovery with prospects.
- Managing technical workshops and proof of concepts (POCs).
- Responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
- Collecting and synthesizing feedback for Product Management and Engineering.
- Representing the product at field events.
- Supporting Marketing with developer marketing and evangelism activities.
- BA/BS or equivalent education (Computer Science preferred).
- 3-7 years of pre-sales experience in a SaaS/iPass organization.
- Hands-on experience with automation technologies, middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services, APIs, SOA, ESB, BPM, SDKs, and Databases.
- Hands-on development experience with SAP PI/PO/CPI and SAP RFM and IDocs based integrations.
- Experience with cloud technologies - iPaaS, SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Ruby programming.
