Marketing Director, Japan at Workato

Workato is seeking a Marketing Director for Japan to drive growth through omnichannel campaign initiatives. The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy for Japan, leading a team of regional marketers, and collaborating with the global Growth and Marketing team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the marketing strategy for Japan.
• Lead and grow our team of regional marketers based in Japan.
• Develop an ideal account profile and customer profiles in deep collaboration with sales.
• Design & execute 1:1, 1: few, and broad-based marketing initiatives.
• Develop webinar series targeting the personas and accounts.
• Work with partners to develop joint marketing campaigns.
• Measure and optimize marketing funnel and programs.
• Track and report on high-quality lead flow.
• Collaborate with the global Growth and Marketing team.
• Build best in class customer journeys from top to bottom of the marketing funnel.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, MBA is a plus.
• 7-10+ years of experience leading marketing activities across Japan.
• Solid experience creating and executing ABM campaigns.
• Deep knowledge of demand generation mix.
• Proven track record of driving targeted, optimized campaigns and programs.
• Experience with marketing automation and marketing operations tools such as Marketo, Salesforce etc.
• Strong marketing background with knowledge and understanding of B2B SaaS platforms, integration, and automation space.
• Proven track record of working at the strategic and tactical level.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
