JD Sports is seeking a Floor Manager to join their team in Paris. With 3,400 stores in 38 countries, JD Sports is a leading retailer striving to be present in Europe, the USA, Asia, and beyond. In France, they have over 130 stores and plan to open around 15 more each year.
The Floor Manager will be responsible for managing a department within the store. This role involves operational leadership and ensuring the department's success.
Role Involves:
- Leading a team of sales associates and supervisors.
- Improving profitability of the department by managing performance indicators.
- Handling store openings and/or closings.
- Performing HR tasks such as scheduling, recruitment, and training.
- Ensuring the sales area is well-presented.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to animate and unite a team.
- Excellent sales skills and the ability to teach others.
- Versatility in handling both human resources and numerical data.
