Head of Middle Office Operations

B2C2, a digital asset pioneer, is seeking a Head of Middle Office Operations in London. This role involves leading the Middle Office team and ensuring the accuracy, control, and efficiency of all operational office functions. The Head of Middle Office will drive operational improvements and collaborate with front and back office teams to support crypto trading, OTC desk, and market-making activities.Role involves:

• Solving reconciliation breaks between exchanges and trading/account systems.
• Creating, leading, and managing the operations team.
• Overseeing daily trade support functions.
• Managing risk processes and ensuring adherence to internal risk policies.
• Developing and implementing operational procedures.
• Fostering cross-departmental relationships.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Middle Office, Trading Operations, or Risk Management role.
• Strong understanding of trading lifecycle and risk management principles.
• Comprehensive understanding of OTC Spot, OTC CFDs, Options, and Funding.
• Expertise in trade settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Proficiency in risk management tools and strategies.
• Solid experience with regulatory reporting obligations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
