Junior Java Developer at B2C2

B2C2 is seeking a Junior Java Developer to join one of its Java teams. The role involves developing and maintaining Java-based applications, writing clean code, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The Junior Java Developer will also write and maintain automated tests and maintain internal documentation.Responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining Java-based applications and components
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Participating in code reviews and incorporating feedback
• Writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure code quality
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
• Working closely with other teams to investigate and solve issues
• Maintaining and enforcing good quality internal documentation

Requirements include:

• Proficiency in Java programming
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Basic understanding of web technologies and protocols (e.g. HTTP, Websocket)
• Some experience with Linux, Docker, Git
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Interest in crypto and/or trading is nice to have
