Industrial Engineer (m/w/d) at GROPYUS AG

GROPYUS is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join their Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team and play a key role in planning the production system and expanding their factory in Germany for automated building module manufacturing. This role involves close collaboration with product developers, machine designers, and a digital transformation team.

The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for creating production concepts aligned with the company's operational goals within an interdisciplinary environment. They will focus on manufacturing process planning from a performance perspective and documenting manufacturing processes.

Role Involves:

• Planning a timed flow production system including material flow considerations.
• Describing production solutions that consider information flows.
• Translating product design drafts into corresponding manufacturing processes.
• Conducting material and production flow analyses, value stream design according to Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Production process planning, cycle time considerations and optimizations.
• Factory/production flow simulation and performance optimization.

Requirements:

• Experience in designing and optimizing industrial production systems.
• Analytical, structured, and documented way of working.
• Logical approach in the definition of work systems or processes.
• Methodological competence in relevant areas such as time studies, value stream design, waste analysis, workplace organization, operations research.
• Experience with factory simulation and product launches in an industrial environment is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
