Job Description

GROPYUS is seeking a Maintenance Technician with PLC knowledge to join their team. GROPYUS is innovating sustainable and affordable buildings through modular construction, setting a new standard for smart living.

Role Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance of PLC controls and ensuring the functionality and safety of equipment and machinery.

Role Involves:

• Maintaining and servicing all PLC controls and PC control systems within the factory, including peripherals.
• Independently troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing automation systems and equipment with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Ensuring the proper functioning and safety of plants, machines, equipment, and operational facilities.
• Serving as an interface between maintenance, software engineering, and production engineering.
• Managing automation projects, including coordinating and supervising external service providers.
• Independently organizing and conducting internal training in the field of PLC controls for electronics technicians.

Requirements:

• Completed training as a mechatronics technician, electrician, or comparable qualification.
• Good knowledge of PLC programming.
• Ideally, experience with software systems for operational control.
• Ability to read technical drawings and pneumatic and electrical schematics.
• Good knowledge of pneumatics and mechanics.
• Knowledge of maintenance techniques and experience in industrial maintenance.
• Proficient in the use of IT systems, especially networks, bus systems, control, and testing software.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system.
• Fluent German in spoken and written form.
