Job Description
CoreWeave is seeking a Data Centre Technician to ensure the availability and reliability of data center operations. This role involves hardware and network diagnostics, physical repairs, and participation in an on-call rotation. The Data Centre Technician will work well with others and help maintain service levels.
Role involves:
- Maintaining data center operations
- Conducting hardware and network diagnostics and repairs
- Performing root cause analysis of hardware and software failures
- Training internal teams
- Developing documentation and scripts
- Providing technical support
- Maintaining inventory
- Assembling and installing equipment
- Performing maintenance of test and tools equipment
- Occasional travel to other data centers
Requirements:
- Experience in assembling, installing, and troubleshooting computer, storage, and network hardware in a data center
- Experience in installing and maintaining copper and fibre cabling in a data center
- Data center experience
- Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
- Linux Operating System experience
- Ability to prioritize tasks and react quickly to issues
- Ability to work in a shift pattern and participate in on-call rotation
- Hands-on or educational experience with computer networking, Python, Bash, Cisco IOS, or Juniper JunOS is desirable
- A degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field is desirable
