Data Centre Technician at CoreWeave Europe

CoreWeave is seeking a Data Centre Technician to join their team in Barcelona. This role involves ensuring the availability and reliability of data center operations through hardware and network diagnostics and repair. The technician will also participate in on-call rotations.

• Maintaining data center operations to ensure service level availability and reliability.
• Performing diagnostics and repairs on hardware and networks.
• Training and supporting internal teams.
• Developing documentation.
• Providing technical support to data center teams.
• Developing scripts for updating server and network hardware.
• Maintaining inventory.
• Assembling and installing equipment.
• Occasional travel to other data centers as needed.

Requirements include:

• Intermediate English (interviews will be conducted in English).
• Experience with computer hardware (assembly and troubleshooting).
• Experience with the Linux operating system.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and react quickly to problems.
• Ability to work in a rotating shift environment, participate in on-call rotations, and provide off-hours support as needed.

Preferred experience includes:

• Computer hardware experience, including troubleshooting and repair.
• Minimum of three years of experience in data centers.
• Experience in computer networking.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS.
