In-House Legal Counsel/Lawyer (Veritas) at LetsGetChecked

Veritas Intercontinental, now part of LetsGetChecked, is seeking a highly motivated Attorney to join their growing International Legal & Compliance team as Legal Counsel. This role is based in the Madrid office and reports to the Veritas HQ team in Spain, with cross-functional collaboration with the Dublin & EU based Legal team. The Legal Counsel will handle a variety of legal matters, working closely with legal, regulatory, compliance, HR, and operations teams.

Responsibilities:

• Advise and review commercial contracts and day-to-day compliance issues.
• Update guidelines, training, and compliance programs in healthcare regulatory compliance.
• Provide legal advice and drafting on commercial healthcare contracts.
• Offer legal advice and services on issues concerning the rights, obligations, risks, and privileges of the organization.
• Understand international regulations for healthcare services in various countries of operation.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in international law, including substantial time with cross-border operations.
• Practicing member in Spain (“Colegiatura para poder ejercer en España”).
• Solid knowledge of contractual and corporate law.
• Strong analytical capacity, proactivity, and communication skills.
• Excellent Spanish & English skills (Level C1 minimum).
