Cresta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Authentication team. This role is crucial for building and maintaining scalable authentication systems, tools, processes, and frameworks based on industry standards and security best practices. The engineer will collaborate with the security team and other engineering teams to meet Cresta's diverse authentication and security needs.Responsibilities include:
- Playing a substantial role in the platform frontend and authentication engineering team.
- Working with Cresta product and engineering teams to build and continuously improve the Cresta platform.
- Staying closely with customers and their requirements, analyzing the technical tradeoffs.
- Demonstrating engineering best practices and upholding high standards.
- Taking technical ownership in a substantial part of the Cresta authentication stack.
- Contributing to building the best-in-class company.
- Providing full stack support for Cresta’s 1st party and 3rd party authentication systems.
- Expanding Cresta’s BYOID (Bring Your Own Identity) repertoire.
- Securing sign-in and application access.
- Building customized, streamlined and frictionless customer-specific auto-login systems.
- Improving and migrating from legacy authentication systems to more modern systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals.
- 8+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management.
- Solid coding skills.
- Experience in various authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, FIDO 2.0, etc).
- Experience with Golang, Postgres, Redis, Kubernetes, AWS.
- Familiarity with React or Angular.
- Proficiency in designing and maintaining clear end-to-end authentication systems.
- Experience as a technical lead of full stack supporting various authentication and security product features.
